Dr. Randy Ulmer grew up in Arizona with hunting as his passion. He
attended Oregon State University where he graduated summa cum laude in
1980. He received his Doctorate from Washington Stae University, cum laude
in 1983.
Randy is probably best known for his
competitive archery achievements. He has won world and national titles in
many different venues. These include 2 ASA World Titles, 2 NABH World
Titles, 2 IBO World Titles and 1 FITA World Title as well as numerous
indoor titles.
Randy has been bowhunting for nearly
thirty years and is known for the monster elk and mule deer he bags
regularly on public land.
Randy is also an outdoor writer. He
pens a monthly column for both Petersen's bowhunting and Bowhunter
Magazines.
Randy currently lives in Arizona with
his wife Tammy and sons Jacob and Levi.
